FAQ

Questions We Get Asked.

If yours is not here, call 845.245.9899 and ask.

Most small business sites run four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch. The variable is almost never our build time, it is how quickly we get content, photos and feedback from you.

No, and neither can anyone else. Anybody who guarantees a ranking is either misinformed or hoping you are. We focus on the work that earns visibility and report honestly on what moves.

Yes. It is built on WordPress, hosted where you choose, and you get full administrator access. You are never locked into us to make a change.

Yes. We build with Elementor so you can edit pages visually, and we train your team before handover.

Automation handles the repetitive steps that never needed a person. Anything customer-facing is still reviewed and approved by people, and we are explicit about which is which.

Most of our clients are within an hour of Brewster, but the work travels fine. Ask.

Straight Answers, Including the Unflattering Ones

Most agency FAQ pages are sales copy wearing a question mark. This one is meant to be useful, including where the honest answer is not the one that wins the job.

If you are comparing providers, the questions below are worth asking all of them. The answers will tell you more about how a company works than any portfolio will. Particularly the ones about guarantees, ownership and what happens if results do not arrive.

Anything not covered here, call 845.245.9899 and ask. We would rather have the awkward conversation before a project than during one.

The Questions Worth Asking Any Agency

If a provider guarantees a first-page ranking, walk away. Nobody controls Google's algorithm, and proximity alone means results differ for every searcher.

Ask who owns the website when the relationship ends. If the answer is anything other than you, understand that you are renting. Ask what happens to your domain, hosting and content if you leave.

Ask how results are reported, and whether you will be shown the months where nothing moved. Any honest engagement has some of those. A provider who only ever reports good news is selecting what they show you.

How We Price and Engage

  • Scoped projects for defined work such as a website or a document system
  • Monthly retainers for ongoing work like local SEO or ongoing automation support
  • No long lock-ins – if the work is not delivering, you should be able to stop
  • You own the assets – domain, hosting, site and content stay in your name
  • Plain reporting – what changed, what it cost, what we recommend next

We would rather quote accurately for the thing that will help than sell a package that includes work you do not need.

Questions About Working Together

Beyond the mechanics, these are the questions that come up most often once a project is being considered seriously.

How long before we see anything?

It depends entirely on which problem we are solving. Response-time and follow-up fixes can show up within days, because they act on enquiries you are already getting. Local SEO typically takes two to four months to compound. A website is a defined project, usually four to eight weeks. If someone promises search results in thirty days, they are describing something other than SEO.

What if it does not work?

Then we say so and change the approach. Retainer work is not locked in for long periods, precisely so you are not trapped in something that is not delivering. What we will not do is keep reporting activity as though it were progress.

Do we have to do everything at once?

No, and we would advise against it. Almost every client starts with one thing, sees whether it moves, and expands from there. Large simultaneous changes also make it impossible to tell which one worked.

Who do we deal with day to day?

The people doing the work. There is no account manager layer relaying messages, which is one advantage of being small.

What do you need from us?

Less than you would think, but not nothing. Photographs of real work, timely answers to questions, and someone who can make a decision. Projects stall on client feedback far more often than on build time.
